One of the pluses of the 2009 vintage for producers was a relatively large quantity of good juice that could be used to make wines like the 2009 Pinot Noir Villages Cuvee. This easy-going effort spent 12 months in 15% new oak. Aromas of damp earth, dried herbs, rose petal, and assorted red fruits inform the nose of a medium-bodied, finesse-styled, savory offering with good balance and length. Drink this tasty, forward, well-priced wine over the next 4-5 years. As usual, owner/winemaker Mark Vlossak has turned out a first-class collection of new releases.Tel.
