Deep, sweet aromas of expressive black cherries are found in the nose of the 2003 Pinot Noir Villages Cuvee. An excellent value, it reveals excellent depth of fruit as well as concentration in its black cherry and brambleberry-flavored core. A slight note of bitterness in the finish prevent a more exalted review. Drink it over the next 2-3 years. It is heartening to see that Mark Vlossak, St.-Innocent’s winemaker and co-owner, has maintained reasonable prices even after having received considerable praise for his wines over the years.www.stinnocentwine.com; tel.
