The Valdinera 2014 Roero Arneis offers a simple, lean but also very clean approach with citrus, honeydew melon and drying mineral tones. For a crisp Italian white, the mouthfeel is relatively soft and yielding. Some 100,000 bottles were produced.

The Valdinaria has evolved quickly. The nose is muted, there are low intensity aromas of pear and green plums with a touch of earthiness. It is crisp with plenty of acidity, but there is not enough fruit to give it balance, resulting in a slightly angular wine.——M.G.(12/31/2007)—— 83

A very fine value from Piedmont (a region where both quality and prices are generally high), the 2001 Arneis exhibits aromas of minerals, white peaches, flowers, and pears in its lovely, medium-bodied, deliciously fruity personality.
