The 2007 Lagrein Gries emerges form the glass with a heady array of mineral-infused dark fruit, spices, minerals, flowers, tar and graphite. This is an exceptional bottle of Lagrein with stunning purity in its fruit, silky, supple tannins and fantastic overall balance. It also happens to be one of my personal favorites.
