Tasted at the Armagh Hut with Sam and Tom Barry, the 2014 The Florita Riesling shows that acidity and phenolic tension is alive and present in this wine. It is really good and quite restrained in its fruit profile, showing a quiet but controlled and deliberate disposition. There is cheesecloth, Comte rind, lanolin, preserved lemon, dehydrated lemon rind and spice, moving into fennel, anise and a hint of dill!
