The 2004 Shiraz (90%) – Mourvedre (10%) “The Dancing Fig” is sourced from estate grown fruit. Earthy aromas are intermingled with smoke, game, leather, and blueberry in a nearly kinky amalgam. Mouth-filling, with a smooth texture, the wine has superb depth and complexity and the finish is long and pure. Although it can be enjoyed now, another 4-6 years in bottle will allow its full expression.
