Compared to the 1995s, the 1994 Cornas cuvees are more compelling and delicious wines, better balanced, richer, more exotic, and more flattering and pleasurable to drink. The 1994 Cornas Champelrose offers a deep purple color, an excellent toasty, smoky, cassis-scented nose, fine ripeness, medium to full body, good density and richness, and a low acid, round, generously-endowed finish. It can be drunk now or over the next 10-12 years. No known American importer.
