Laurent Courbis has produced some interesting wines, although both his 1995 Cornas offerings were slightly tart, with, I suspect, low PH/high acid profiles. The 1995 Cornas Champelrose exhibits a dark ruby/purple color, good spice and black fruits in the nose, as well as woody notes, but it narrows out, becoming compact and compressed. It should last for a decade or more. No known American importer.
