The 1999 Zinfandel Spenker Vineyard (14.8% alcohol) is a knock-out example of Zinfandel from the unheralded Lodi region. Its dense ruby/purple color is accompanied by copious quantities of sweet, uncomplicated black cherry and berry fruit offered in a spicy, full-bodied, luxuriously rich style.
