The Chateau Laniote 2014 is perhaps a little "uncomplicated" on the nose, but that would be to overlook the fine delineation in place here, the welcome sense of reserve. The palate is well balanced with sappy red berry fruit, quite saline in the mouth with a flourish of rustic red berry fruit on the finish. This is a fine addition to the vintage for those that like a classically trained Saint Emilion.
