The largest-production wine at William Hill, the 2020 Chardonnay Napa Valley blends fruit from Oak Knoll, St. Helena, Carneros and even a touch from Sonoma County. All barrel fermented and aged in American oak (30% new), it's toasty and riddled with oak-spice and buttered popcorn over peach and melon fruit. It's reasonably full-bodied but not that concentrated, being soft and pillowy in feel, then grounded by mocha and dried spices on the finish.
