The 2003 Taurasi Campore is a big, opulent wine endowed with masses of dark fruit. A harmonious, beautifully- balanced Taurasi, the Campore reveals terrific density and purity in a seamless, generous style. Dark fruit, leather, grilled herbs and roasted coffee beans are some of the nuances to be found in this polished, elegant wine. Taurasi is rarely this rewarding at this early stage, but Terredora has succeeded in producing a highly pleasing wine that is already a pure joy to drink. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2018.
