The medium ruby-colored 1998 Pinot Noir Savoy Vineyard possesses a Beaune premier cru-like style. A sweet nose of black cherries, spice, and mineral scents is followed by a medium-bodied, pure, firmly-structured Pinot Noir. It requires 12-18 months of bottle age, and should last for 6-7 years.
