Only 823 cases were produced of this superlative Macon. Made from 40-50 year old vines and barrel fermented in 15% new oak, the wine's concentration and character are impressive. A compellingly sweet, ripe nose of buttery, mineral-scented fruit is followed by a rich, expansive, medium-bodied wine exhibiting a lovely, balanced, authoritatively flavored personality.
