Produced from a blend of 60% Mourvedre, 20% Grenache, and 20% Cinsault, the road tar-scented 1999 Bandol is medium to dark ruby-colored. It boasts gorgeously fresh layers of cassis, juicy blackberries, and cherries in its lively, deep personality. This wine has oodles of fruit, sur-maturite characteristics, and a firm yet well-ripened finish.
