The 1999 Costera is primarily made from the indigenous Cannonau grape (believed to be a kissing cousin of Grenache). It sees a touch of new French oak. The wine is dense, chewy, full-bodied, layered, and seamless with sweet kirsch liqueur notes intermixed with licorice and vanilla. Drink it over the next 2-3 years.Importer: A Leonardo LoCascio Selection, Winebow Inc., Hohokus, NJ; tel. (201) 445-0620
