The more ambitious, oaky 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve (a barrel selection of the finest lots) is not the near-term, mainstream hit that its sibling is, but it offers more power, tannin, structure, and possibly more depth. I did not enjoy it any more than the regular Cabernet, but it is more of a long-term prospect that is best consumed between 2005-2014.
This personality-filled offering provides enormous fun as well as pleasure.
