Deep garnet purple colored, the 2008 Shiraz is profoundly scented of warm blackberry and kirsch with supporting notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, anise, loam, damp leaves, rose petals and a touch of dried mint. Full, crisp and rich it has medium-firm fine-grained tannins and a long slightly warm finish with a suggestion of oak poking through. It should drink best from 2012 to 2017+.
