This relative newcomer to the quality wine scene has turned out two impressive wines. The 1994 Cabernet Sauvignon possesses a dark ruby/purple color, sweet, blackcurrant aromas, high quality pain grillee notes, and vague mineral scents. Full-bodied, powerful, and rich, with sweet tannin, and jammy black fruits intermingled with spice, this ripe, layered Cabernet Sauvignon already displays charm and accessibility, but it promises to be even better with 4-5 more years of cellaring; it should age well for 15-20 years.Tel. Lots of complex coffee, currant, cherry and tealike notes, with a smooth texture and lots of finesse. Finishes with firm, chewy tannins, but the flavors are well focused and offer lots of depth and complexity. Try after 2000. 1,300 cases made. -
