The 2007 Jansz Vintage Rose is made from 100% Pinot Noir and was barrel fermented and matured for 8 months in aged French oak barriques. After more than three years aging on yeast lees the wine was disgorged and liquered, again using 100% Tasmanian Pinot Noir. Pale pink in color, it offers a vibrant nose of fresh raspberries, wild strawberries, cream, croissants and fresh pears. The palate lends a very good concentration of berry and toast flavor with crisp acidity and just enough dosage (8.9 grams per liter). The bubbles are small and persistent while the finish is long and creamy. Drink it now to 2014+. Importer: Negociants U.S.A.; Napa, CA; tel. (707) 259-0993
