This is so penetratingly musky in its florality that it conjures up a field full of daffodils. Along with that come pungent, Forst-typical sage and marjoram. The fascinating floral and herbal mélange continues on a glossy, full palate, allied to juicy grapefruit and tart-edged crab apple. As with the corresponding Pechstein, the finish seems to glow and vibrate in its zesty and resinous herbal intensity, here accompanied by a stony undertone and a saliva-inducing, intensely mineral infusion of sea water.
