The Musso 2018 Barbaresco Rio Sordo shows a hint of ripeness, with cherry skin and dried apricot that you don't get in the expression from Pora. This could come from some of the warmer temperatures that washed over the region just prior to harvest. The Rio Sordo shows dark plum, resin and tar. Overall, this wine is more open-knit and accessible, making it suitable for near and medium-term drinking. 8,000 bottles were released.
