Produced from 58-year-old vines, the 1998 Puligny-Montrachet Clos de la Mouchere has intense pear and apple aromas. Vinified entirely in Boillot's trademark 350 liter barrels (half new, and the balance one year old), this medium-bodied wine has an appealingly thick, silky texture. Lemon, minerals, and crisp pears can be found in its well-focused, balanced, and delineated personality. Drink it between 2001 and 2008.
