This winery has impressed me with its recent releases. Both of the 1993 offerings are classy, well-made wines with considerable character. Pride's 1993 Cabernet Franc is slightly superior to the Merlot, displaying more elegance as well as a more complex nose of blackcurrants, herbs, and spicy oak. The wine is medium to full-bodied, graceful, and rich, but not heavy or noticeably tannic. It should drink well for 7-10 years. Tel. (707) 963-4949
