The 2006 Cabernet Franc is dark ruby-colored with an attractive perfume of cedar, spice box (cloves and cinnamon), red currants and cherry. Easygoing on the palate, the wine features spicy, tasty red fruits and a moderately long finish. It can be enjoyed over the next 4-6 years.
Myles Anderson and Gordon Venneri founded Walla Walla Vintners in 1995, the eighth winery in the Valley (now there are over 100). The winery has 18 acres planted with another 11 to come. Current production is about 6000 cases.
