Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2013 The Blend (52% Merlot, 46% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Petit Verdot) has pronounced notes of eucalyptus, preserved plums and crème de cassis with hints of pepper and cloves. Medium-bodied, it has a lively, juicy-fruited palate with straightforward flavors and pleasant chewiness.

The fresh cherry and plum flavors show fragrant accents of mint and anise. This is polished and bright on the long finish, where all the elements sing in harmony.
