2008 The Schiller Shiraz is a new release off a single vineyard 1880s planting. V deep garnet purple colored, it displays creme de cassis and kirsch aromas over toasted nuts, marmite, dark soy and menthol plus a whiff of chocolate shavings. Very crisp, concentrated and voluptuous, it has a great backbone of firm, very finely grained tannins and a long layered finish.
