I misunderstood the information last time and I thought there was no 2010 Dalmau, when in reality what happened was that it was sold to a sole client and was not distributed through the normal channels of importers and distributors. To amend the mistake, I tasted the wine this time; I'm glad I did, as this great vintage produced a Dalmau that ranks among the best ever produced. Although, since the change of decade, the grapes are sourced exclusively from the Canajas vineyard within the Ygay Estate next to Logro?o. The varietal composition changes with each vintage and in 2010 it was approximately 86% Tempranillo, 9% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Graciano. This vintage shows superb balance and great freshness, with a great combination of power and elegance. A superb Dalmau. 21,000 bottles produced.
