The 2015 Corton Le Rognet et Corton Grand Cru is—unsurprisingly—the most reserved wine in the Guillemot cellar, opening somewhat in the glass with a restrained nose of ripe cherry and coniferous forest. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with excellent amplitude and dimension, but a taut, finely tannic finish that makes the wine hard to read. This was excellent from barrel, so the only missing ingredient is time.
