Deep garnet in color, the 2010 Clos de l'Oratoire comes roaring out of the glass with maturing blackberry pie, Black Forest cake and new leather notes plus wafts of garrigue, bouquet garni and black tea. While there is a lot to love about this full-bodied beauty, it has a firm, chewy texture and the mid-palate fruit is drying slightly, finishing a tad rustic.
