I never think of a Cabernet Sauvignon when I smell this wine. The 2012 Terrer d'Aubert is definitively more influenced by the soil and climate than the grape variety. Once you know it, it's easy to guess where the classic black pepper and balsamic aromas come from. The classical palate is serious, medium to full-bodied with austere tannins and a chalky, tasty finish. 15,000 bottles produced.

Black cherry, blackberry, licorice, graphite and toasty flavors mingle in this polished, harmonious red, with a good balance of well-integrated tannins and acidity.
