Parusso's style of Barolo is lighter than that of many other producers. Parusso's newest releases are the strongest wines he has yet made. The 1991 Dolcetto is another good example from this maligned vintage. Soft and fruity, with excellent ripeness and an attractive suppleness, it should be drunk before the end of 1994.
