The classic 1999 Condrieu reveals high acidity and not much fat, but it is an elegant, perfumed, medium-bodied effort with aromas and flavors of bananas, peaches, and apricots. It will be flexible with food. Look for it to drink well for 1-3 years. Two-thirds of this wine is tank-fermented and aged, and the rest is barrel-fermented.
