The 100% barrel-aged cuvee (half new and half one-year old), the 1999 Crozes-Hermitage Clos des Grives rouge, exhibits a deep ruby/purple color as well as a dense nose of black cherry liqueur, smoke, toast, minerals, and tapenade.
