Drinking beautifully, with classic notes of cured meats, blackcurrants, garrigue and dried flowers, the 2003 Crozes Hermitage Clos des Grives is medium to full-bodied, forward, fruit-loaded and charming. It has none of the roasted qualities or astringency often sighted by naysayers of the vintage, and while there’s no need to hold off, it will continue offering pleasure through 2023.
