The dark ruby-colored 2001 Proprietary Red Sori Bricco Vineyard (a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc) reveals aromas of sweet cherries, spice, and earth. It possesses a pinched, austere palate as well as a Bordeaux-like personality. The dry tannin is worrisome, but if everything comes together, it will merit a score in the upper eighties.
