Full apple aromas with minty accents open this vintage bottling and lead to a dry, lime-mint-chalk palate. The bead is fine, and only lack of a firmer mouthfeel keeps this from being a more serious sparkler, but the softness undoubtedly has wide appeal. A decently long, dry, green apple finish closes it nicely. ——M.M.(12/31/2001)—— 86
