Mikulski's 2001 Meursault may well be the finest village wine he's crafted. Its rich pear and apple-scented nose is followed by a plush, oily-textured character. Seamless, harmonious, and broad, it oozes its well-ripened white fruits across the taster's palate. This intense, almost viscous wine also reveals a gorgeously long, flavorful finish. Drink it over the next 5 years.
