Note: This wine is a special cuvee made specifically for the U.S. market.Domaine de Fondreche's 1999 Rose is not made by bleeding the tanks of its red wine like all too many roses produced around the world. It is fashioned from the estate's youngest vines of Grenache (40%), Syrah (30%), and Cinsault (30%) that are harvested one week before the estate's older vineyards. It possesses a bright pink-orange color and displays strawberry aromas. This fresh, simple, easygoing and joyful rose is light to medium-bodied, crisp, and thirst-quenching. Drink this excellent value over the next six months. Importer: ROBERT KACHER SELECTIONS, 2015 Vine Street NE, Washington, DC 20018; tel. (202) 832-9083; fax (202) 529-2579
