Bonneau fashioned a supple, rich 1994 Chateauneuf du Pape with aromas of jammy, overripe black-cherries, apricots, and garrigue. It is likely to be designated a Cuvee Marie Beurrier. Bonneau feels that in 1994 his vineyards suffered too much from the heat and drought and when the rainy weather came it was too late to trigger any further ripening.
This appears to be a 10-12 year wine, which by Bonneau standards is short-lived.
