Made with 56% Nebbiolo, 33% Barbera and 11% Merlot, the 2013 Langhe Rosso Anna is a racy wine with bright cherry highlights that segue to darker tones of leather, tobacco and spice. The wine ages in 500-liter tonneaux for six months and this has helped to improve its textural richness and mouthfeel. This blended red delivers both informality and understated elegance. It also offers very good value.
