The 2007 Barolo Cerequio flows with sweet red cherries, licorice, flowers and mint. It shows gorgeous textural finesse and elegance to match its approachable personality. Layers of sweet perfume weave through to the finish. Boroli is still a young estate, but given the quality of this vineyard, there is every reason to hope – and frankly, expect – the Cerequio to be an even better and finer Barolo in future vintages.
