LAST TASTED 3/94
Significantly lighter and less well-endowed than the 1989 Cabernet, this medium ruby-colored wine exhibits a straightforward bouquet of dusty oak, spice, and red fruits, medium body, and some tartness. Although the flavors reveal above average concentration, there is little complexity or follow through on the palate. There is light tannin in the finish, but this is primarily a wine for drinking over the next 7-8 years.
