The 1982 Beaune 1er Cru Clos des Mouches Blanc had held up well considering its age. Brioche and peach on the nose, a hint of mango developes later. The palate is fully mature (as if that needs saying), with a pleasant waxy texture, lemon rind and mandating towards the finish that is perhaps beginning to dry out. Still, it is a decent if not particularly riveting Clos des Mouches that was probably at its peak 12-15 years ago. Tasted November 2016.
