In top vintages Drouhin always does a superb job with Beaune-Clos des Mouches. The 1992 is a full-bodied, rich, complex wine with mineral, floral, buttery fruit, medium to full body, excellent ripeness, and a long, layered finish. Drink it over the next 5-7 years.
Drouhin's 1992s are similar in style to the excellent 1989s. The wines are fat, ripe, tasty, and ideal for drinking over the near term because of their low acidity and their fleshy, open-knit style.
