The 2007 Langhe Bianco is a richly-textured generous Sauvignon loaded with ripe peaches, mint, smoke, and subtle oak. The varietal notes are there, but the wine also reveals plenty of personality in its generous, enveloping style. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2010.
Marco Parusso’s entry-level wines have all of the qualities that readers will find in the higher-end bottlings; namely an approach that seeks elegance, finesse and understatement.
