The 2012 Semillon is a fresh, delicious white with loads of juicy, vibrant stone fruits, hints of brioche and citrus as well as a medium-bodied, fresh and crisp palate feel. A blend of 89% Semillon and 11% Sauvignon that was whole-cluster pressed and aged on lees in all neutral oak, it has a great mix of freshness and richness that will allow it to be versatile on the table. Enjoy it over the coming year or two. Drink now-2015.
These wines are made by the crew at Pepper Bridge with the goal of hitting the value end of the spectrum, yet with high quality. I think they succeed admirably.
