The 2003 Pago Negrolada comes from a single, high elevation Tempranillo vineyard and is typically the winery’s benchmark effort. The wine was barrel fermented and displays a saturated purple color, splendid blackberry, chocolate and earthy aromas. It is packed with ripe, impeccable pure fruit, and has impressive balance. It should come into its own with 4-6 years of cellaring and drink well for a decade thereafter.
