The 2004 Pago Negrolada is 100% Tempranillo aged for 24 months in new French oak. Dense purple-colored, it delivers a complex aromatic array of wood smoke, toast, mineral, espresso, black cherry, blackberry, and a hint of truffle. On the palate, notes of herbs, minerals, licorice, and berry fruit emerge. This splendidly balanced wine will evolve for 3-5 years and drink well through 2025.
