Louis Latour’s 2003 Corton-Charlemagne (white) was harvested at 14% natural potential alcohol. It displays rich, smoky aromas of minerals, sage, and toast. Armed with excellent depth of fruit, this light to medium-bodied offering is packed with minerals and fresh herbs that linger in its extensive yet slightly warm (from alcohol) finish. Austere at present, and slightly tight, it will require some patience. Projected maturity: 2008-2014.
Maison Louis Latour has numerous importers across the United States.
